A couple months ago (maybe 6 by now) I had a dream in which Jacob sortof appeared and without a word gave me a great big hug. It was such a familar feeling despite the years since I've seen him, and it has helped me deal with the grief and anger I've felt since he died.
From time to time I'll come across an old photo of Jacob from when we were kids and it makes me smile. I am sorry that I have to explain to my girls who he is instead of having them know him-- but at least I have pictures and memories to share. I look forward to hearing his words again by reading his book. Thanks for making that possible.
